Both send the questions as Adaptive Cards in a direct message and collect the answers into a channel summary. The differences are in the integrations, the platforms and what else each product does.
Jira or Azure DevOps
DailyBot's Jira integration goes both ways on the Advanced plan: check-ins arrive with each person's open tickets and answers can update ticket status. DailyBot does not list Azure DevOps. Standly Premium does the equivalent for Azure DevOps: answers are drafted from the work items each person changed, and notes land as comments on the work items they mention. How that works.
Free plan limits
DailyBot's free plan has no member limit but caps compiled check-in reports at 50 a month and keeps 14 days of history. Standly's free plan caps the number of people at 10 and keeps 30 days of history, with no cap on standups or runs.
Price for 25 people, billed yearly
- DailyBot Essentials: $720 a year ($2.40 × 25 × 12).
- DailyBot Advanced, with Jira: $1,500 a year ($5 × 25 × 12).
